Honks and squeals

It felt like a reasonably busy day, albeit not at the controls today – although I tried first thing – but it was a very broken up busy because of continual spikes of pain whenever I moved the wrong way or breathed too much.  Racing through to the other room with a hefty camera in my hand to photograph the geese also counts as "the wrong way".  It's all really quite incredibly sore.  My knee's not so bad I suppose, except the fancy bandage has started to unstick itself and is leaking.

A bit more Holz planning through the day, and a lot of thinking about how best to fit a voltmeter to Madame Fidra, or some sort of gauge that could alert me in some way, like flashing or changing colour.  Much googling later it turns out that such a gizmo exists, so I could get a second one for the Africa Twin (or indeed its hypothetical successor).
