Warmer

When the boiler fitter arrived I was still in bed because the room was cold and I was sore from Saturday's run, so I had to leap into clothes as quickly as I could and get downstairs.

The work took all day, so I had one more day in a cold house before he left, and I could have a hot shower in a warming house. 

Meanwhile, I had a long chat with our impending employee. Although he's Australian, he's been in Germany for a long time, so was keen to know what hours he'd have to work, and what holiday entitlement he'd get. We also discussed some of the many ways he can contribute to the project, and the people with whom he'll be interacting. I also made some minor changes to the slides I'll present in my second lecture tomorrow.
