Melting

The heavy snowfall followed by a week away from home has meant that the Christmas Window has remained for longer than usual.  I'm not complaining because it looked particularly fine when the street was full of snow.  However, today we had a more relaxed day so it was time to get out the stepladders, fill the bucket with floor cleaner and dig out the scraper.  I left the Boy and his Snowman till the very last so I could record their spirit before it went.

I'm avoiding all news bulletins and 'special programmes' today, can't bear to listen/see it.
