A different route

ATN singing as usual this miring but o walked there from Bingley. My neighbour called whilst we were getting ready to ask if we could take here down to Bingley for a vets appt. as her car wouldn’t start.
We all went down and I walked up to the Methodist Church where our singing session takes place whilst Chris waited for our neighbour to take her back home after the cat’s appointment.

So an unfamiliar walk for me across the bridge, built to cross the busy by-pass, and then the Leeds-Liverpool canal. We use the canal a lot but usually further up by the three and five rise locks or walking into Saltaire, not here in town.

A grey and dull morning but I liked the mill chimney reflection, the two swans and finalky the two cyclists coming into view on the towpath in their reflective orange.
Lots of people use the towpath to commute.

I was there a bit early but helped to put out the chairs, Chris made it just before start time at 10.00 am!
