Water of Leith

Gym first thing.  Afternoon walk down Leith Walk, through by Jane Street to the Water of Leith, and up river.  This is the lower weir; more than one big tree has hung up waiting for the clearing crews. 

Saw a pair of swans, and at least a dozen goosander in their black and white and green winter colours, at the corner just upstream from Coalie Park. 6C, not much wind.  Through by St Mark's park, along E Clairemont Street, and up the hill from there. A few patches of blue sky, but no actual sunshine.
