Sunday Stroll

... in Heraklion on a Spring like day and it was busy with people; later on I learned that Winter Sales started this weekend ~ the beautiful weather invited the Cretans to come to town, but Sales also invited them to come to the shops in town / city's center.

Heraklion is some 150 kms away from Chania and surely we didn't get there for a stroll thro' town, but we did for a visit to Sweetheart's friends and as they live close to the old inner city of Heraklion, I made an hour's stroll thro' its inner city and was surprised by the many shoppers.
