cleaning

This morning I was taking part in a beach clean with friends down in Southerness. It was organised by the Dumfries EcoWarriors (to celebrate their 7th birthday) and Solway Firth Partnership, who provided soup and cake afterwards.

It was a cold morning, but dry, and we spread out along the beach with our pickers, to fill our green bags with bits of plastic, old shoes, a pillow and other odd detritus.

Here are some Samba Sisters back in the car park  - Jill, Alison, Louise and Fiona. Jess was relaxing in the boot of Fiona's car after all the excitement!
