Nailed It!

Squirrel - not me.....
I was too late.
This was her landing after doing a back-flip.
She showed us this when we were out for a walk this morning and dropped in to see Bags.

We were out for another walk in the afternoon (not sure what has go into SWMBO today).
Some of that walk was spent walking with Brenda Somebody who used to be in the craft association) and her Husky.
There are quite a few trees in 'The Valley' which have been taken down by both the weather and the Council.
I came back with a slim slice of one which has some lovely 'spalting' (patterns in the wood caused by rot). I would love the bit of log but that would require taking a trolley in the boot of the car and a bit of a walk. I will see how the slice turns first.

I took all sorts of pictures on the walks ... squirrels, trees, running water, dead weeds, graffiti  and .... of all things ..... a toaster in a waste bin! Who carriers a toaster to the middle of nowhere to dump it in a bin?
