Bye Bye Bosch

Out with the old and in with the new. Our Bosch washer/dryer lasted more than 17 years and multiple repairs but was finally deemed beyond repair - nothing wrong with the washer but the dryer’s electronics were shot - so it’s been replaced. I’ll put money on the new one not lasting that long! Happily for the delivery guys the new machine is a lot lighter; I thought I might be calling an ambulance at one point as they were humphing the Bosch down the stairs but in the end, paper towels and a plaster sufficed. I mopped the blood off the kitchen floor after they’d gone!
Did my tax return this afternoon and if my calculations aren’t challenged I’ll be getting a rebate. Nice! Then off to meet DougM and JacktheLad in Mathers to watch the match of the day, the Jambos playing Brechin in the Cup, and they avoided the banana skin despite losing an early goal. That’s five games unbeaten, has the tide turned?
