Beam me up ...

An item in yesterday's. news said that students had calculated that it would take 350,000 times longer than the universe has been in existence to beam one person using current technology off the earth. I think I'd walk!

Today it would have been nice to be beamed somewhere. A planned day started very early was disrupted trying to correct some erroneous media messages, followed by an hour in the dentist chair ( 3 injections needed) to remove a molar crown, so much so that when eating later I chewed my lip without realising.

When I got home, a call from an elderly aunt that her cat's collar had gone missing took me to a retail park south of Edinburgh where this break in the clouds was quite striking.

Ps. Note to self. Must clean lens!
