Nutcracker

A friend called round for coffee this morning.  She has been struggling with a chesty cough since before Christmas but seems much better.  Her husband has now started with it so didn't go to golf this morning.

My arthritic hands can’t cope with conventional nutcrackers so I ordered this contraption yesterday afternoon and it turned up at lunchtime.  It was a bit fiddly holding a Brazil nut in place but it eventually worked.  We might get the nuts eaten now.

The sun did come out briefly but it’s really chilly out there so I’m dithering between watching the snooker or going for a walk.  I can probably do both if I put my mind to it.
