In the distance
JJ took the boys to golf and I decided to walk over the ridge and back through the village.
I avoided most of the mud, unlike a few other people who were sticking (literally) to the official footpaths. There was a pack of runners, if that’s what they’re called heading across from the windmill. The people in the picture were a long way away heading towards me on the footpath between Stagsden and Stevington.
I very politely asked a woman not to let her two dogs run all over the newly planted crops. Some people haven’t a clue what damage animals can do to crops and wildlife and it’s common sense to respect farmers fields.
Two tree creepers were busy in the lime trees earlier on. Such lovely little birds but they do make photographing them very difficult, so I didn’t bother.
