Jean drove all the way from Northfleet (Kent) to spend the afternoon and evening with me. It's been a long time since we saw each other, for various reasons.  Lots to talk about as always, family updates, activities and events, and of course sharing opinions and solving many of the world's problems political and environmental, all while we had a very nice and leisurely lunch at the Fox and Raven.  Back home afterwards, we even found time this evening to sit and watch Ryan Gosling and others in 'Crazy Stupid Love' (2011) before it was sadly, inevitably, eventually, time for her to drive all the way back to Kent.
