Frozen Artery

A marathon training day today, taking the train from Leeds to Shipley to run back along the canal. Almost exactly half-marathon distance to the station to pick up my bag at left-luggage, achieved in well under 2 hours, and without any stress. I'm definitely getting my endurance fitness back.

It was pleasant in the sun but the canal was frozen for most of its length and as I got towards Leeds there was a lot more frost on the towpath. It was very icy in places.
