Same but Different

A rare day at home without needing to be anywhere, marked in the usual way. The same old view but it's always different. No apologies. Actually managed to mark out some time to get back to editing the novel, continuing to strip back to the essentials of the story. When you know you need to bring the word count down it's amazing how satisfying it is to be able to cut swathes of text, even when you remember how long they took to write! As it's known in the trade, I'm killing off my darlings. It's turning into a massacre!
