River Clwyd
WEDNESDAY
A mild and sunny day, with clear blue skies and temperatures once again in the double figures.
I made a quick trip to Sainsbury's in Rhuddlan to stock up on coffee. While I was in town, I decided to take a brisk 5 km walk along the River Clwyd, heading towards Rhyl. The river is tidal at this point and had swollen from melting snow, which was still visible on the distant mountains.
In the evening, I walked up to the Salusbury Arms community pub, which was hosting a "Sip and Paint" event. I’ve worked with watercolours and oils before, but tonight I gave acrylics a try. Let’s just say my efforts resulted in something that might have been mistaken for a six-year-old’s masterpiece! It’s definitely not going to win any awards and I'm not posting it on Blip!
