Llyn Geirionydd

Another mild and sunny January day with temperatures touching double figures.

A visit from Steven in the Fig van with our Ocado shopping, then we headed over to Eryri National Park stopping for lunch at one of our favourite spots, The Alpine Coffee Shop, located in the Station Buildings at Betws-y-Coed Railway Station. 

The station, still in use today, houses several eateries, quality shops, a deli,  ice cream parlour, and a gallery—a great place to explore. 

After a relaxed meal, we wandered around the local shops before continuing our journey with a scenic drive along  miles of single-track roads through the forest to Llyn Geirionydd, before making our way up the Conwy Valley. Finally, we returned home via the A55.
