We’ve been to a garden centre

And all I came home with was a blip subject.

We had our friends from Waltham Abbey over today. Mrs HCB’s soup went down a storm. Thank you Mrs HBC.

The weather was so dismal and given the time of year there were no museums or other places to visit open. We resorted to a farm shop and a garden centre for the afternoon’s entertainment.

Even the garden centre looked desolate as they had removed all the Christmas stock and were redeveloping that area. The gnomes had escaped the upheaval so far. So, desperation crept it. It’s a tenuous entry for wide Wednesday hosted by BobsBlips. The gnomes are wide enough and jolly.

Soon we repaired home for cheese scones and tea followed by dinner.
