A Handbag?!

I've  been earnestly searching for a handbag to replace the little Radley one I bought in John Lewis about twenty-five years ago. I love it, it's perfect for me, just enough room for my purse, phone, keys and hankie. As you can see from the image I've worn it out. I've been polishing it with Parade Gloss for quite a few years but the disintegrating handles won't polish out. I was thinking of getting them repaired.

I was absolutely delighted when my daughter found the exact bag on eBay. I don't usually get excited about 'things' but this made me feel very happy.
I'm not really a handbag person. I've got a lovely soft brown leather bag that I bought in my teens that is full of love letters from that time. I got a beige suede one for my daughter's wedding. Having been 'down on the farm' all my life I haven't really needed handbags. I bought the little Radley in John Lewis when I suddenly became a trad jazz widow. I like that it seems to work with the clothes I usually wear. Denim, my TuffStuff bramble-proof work coat, my Aigle wellies and my Barbour rain jacket. My daughter bought me the Radley purse for Christmas a few years ago.
