Waning Wolf Moon

The wolf moon was magnificent last night as Mish and I had our last walk at 10:30 pm. So much so that I played with my wolf-like dog in the moonshine for a while. The moon shadows were fantastic.

When I got up this morning it was shining brightly over the hedge but by the time I got my camera it had slipped behind the clouds. I managed the above image from the drive. Wish there had been field maple twigs in shot not the non-native hardy palms that flank the pool house opposite.
