The Young Gull

I am tempted to call these little watercolour sketches 'Sofa Art'. I tend to sit on my sofa in the evening and quickly sketch them before adding a few ink lines. This takes around half an hour and really relaxes me after a long day at work. I then finish them off (not on the sofa) with quick washes of watercolour. It's a good way to keep up my sketching practice and gives me a little variety from the botanical art.
