Poets and Lovers

It was Ferelith's birthday and I had booked for both of us to go and see the Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers Exhibition at the National Gallery. I was warned that it would be busy, but it wasn't that bad really, Yes, you sometimes had to wait in order to see a painting or drawing close by (or from a distance as is often the case), but there was no rush and I nerver felt that it spoilt my enjoyment. It is a relatively small exhibition, but one that shows Van Gogh in a different light and really enjoyed it.
Afterwards Ferelith wanted to go home - she has a bad cold and was struggling a bit - so we had Kir Royal at her place (I'd brought Champagne and Crème de Cassis as a birthday present) and a nice meal at her place. I'll take her out another evening when she is better.
