Juncos

I went for breakfast this morning with the travel/social group. We are going to have a breakfast in Dartmouth every second Tuesday. That will make it easier for me to plan my schedule.

After breakfast I went for a walk in Shubie Park. The squirrels were active on the whole loop. I was about three quarters of the way around the look before the chickadees showed up. There was half a dozen in one area and I fed them. A woodpecker also stopped to get some of the seeds. I think they followed me because about 50 feet down the trail I was surrounded by chickadees again, and the woodpecker was clinging to a tree. I put the last of the sunflower seeds I had with me on a railing for them.

The juncos feed on the ground, and they stay close to the trail. As I am walking towards them they keep running away along the trail. Some of them will go off into the woods until I pass. I did get a few photos of them today as they stayed close to the edge of the woods.

I worked on my diamond painting kit for a short time this afternoon but my hand started to cramp. So I switched over to working on my jigsaw puzzle. Later this afternoon I set up my excel sheets for 2025, to keep track of expenses. Time to start working on my year end paperwork too.
