An ordinary life....

I ain't missing you at all...

This is Lola's spot whenever D leaves the house.  She flops down with a big sigh and a resigned look in her eyes and I know she's thinking if I lie here I'll be the first to know when he returns.  She did come to me for a cuddle and a treat but returned to her spot straight after.

D was off playing golf at Kilspindie (quite a distance from us but you know, it's golf)  *rolls eyes*  so she had a long wait.

I had a number of tasks on my to-do list today but some picture frames that I'd ordered arrived and I ended up spending almost all afternoon framing more prints and paintings.  Three of the prints we bought when we spent a couple of nights in Pitlochry in 2015 (jeez I've just realised that's 10 years ago!) so it's good to finally have them ready to hang on the wall.

Neither of us could be bothered cooking so we had a pizza from the freezer for dinner.  D then unpacked and set up a little lamp table we bought for the side of one of the new sofas. Hopefully the lamp that will sit on it will arrive tomorrow.  I edited a photo Nikki sent me that was taken just as Orla was born.  She wanted it converted to black and white.  Sent various versions back to her and thankfully she is happy with them all.  She sent me a photo of Orla with her eyes open and she is Andrew's double at that age.  It really could be her dad lying there.  The scary thing is him being newborn just seems like two minutes ago, yet it's almost 34 years!!

How time flies.
