Daylesford 2

We started the day by visiting Daylesford shops. It was generally of more interest to the female members of the family, although we all came along. Our only purchase was an old Agatha Christe from a second hand book shop, which Bec and I will now read together having forgotten to pack anything. After lunch we visited a place called "Maze house" about 10 minutes out of town. The objective of the maze was to find 8 pictures, each of which had a number, and note which picture matched up with each number. The teams were: 1. Bec and Henry, 2. Jane and me. 3. The big kids. In the end the big kids just won. This was mainly thanks to Adelaide who maintains who her long standing reputation as being the best in the family at finding things. After arriving home, we had a game of scrabble which Bec won, and then the children and I went to the lake while Bec made dinner. The boys did some fishing while the girls taught me how to do cartwheels (this was when the photo was taken). We also found an old mineral water pump. There were signs up about the nutritional benefits of this water, but it tasted like an unsweetened carbonated drink with 1c and 2c coins dissolved in it. The kids were not impressed.
