Mixed success

We return to the audiologist’s this morning to collect the charging unit for my new hearing aids, they had forgotten to include it in the bag yesterday. We took Amber with us to town as it was a pleasant temperature for a change and went for a coffee in our quirky cafe. 

This afternoon we were expecting a visit from the oven cleaning chap. He texted yesterday to say that he would be visiting Tuesday later than planned. We thought that he was coming on Wednesday, but assumed that there had been a mix up. He didn’t turn up and when contacted, had got his dates confused. A wasted afternoon as I couldn’t settle to do a big jobs. 

This evening we went to the leisure centre for B & R to do a gym session. I did my knitting as usual.
