Dirty Business!!

The stages of snow melting vary from the still quite but wetter part until you reach the part where the snow is black, slushy and rather unattractive. The snow is largely as that last stage but the huge mounds of snow remain solid as a rock! 

Usual day at school followed by a "cluster meeting" which took me back to university days on this occasion. Somebody at the front quoting statistics at you whilst you listen. All, admittedly, very interesting. However, less useful in terms of practical use day to day in the classroom. :-P
