Day Trip

About 9.45am we were collected from our hotel in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia, for a tour of the city.

First stop was the Batu Caves at Selangor which houses numerous temples and a LOT of steps to climb to get into the main cave which is cavernous as my main photo' shows.

Among other stops was to see Malaysian 'Big Ben', The Kings Palace, The Malaysian War Memorial and Selangor Royal Pewter factory (B&W) of which photo's are in the extra. 

We did a couple of other stops (no extras) to a silk factory and chocolate factory, so for the day it was incredible value of £55 for us both!

In the evening we were joined by a Scottish couple that made up the four of us on tour in the minibus, for free drinks and food in The Club Lounge of Traders Hotel where we're staying. We move on tomorrow.

I'm hoping to get up in the middle of the night to watch Cardiff City FC play at 7.45pm (UK time). Their owner is Malaysia's twenty ninth richest man, Vincent Tan,  and the club shirt is sponsored by Malaysia tourism!
