Russia has relied on its naval base in Syria. Assad’s fall presents a problem for them. It is their only Mediterranean port. Will Russia be allowed to keep it? This is where they keep their submarines. Ukraine  intel says Russia is transferring military assets. 

Ukrainians are doing a great job destroying Russian tanks with drones so the tanks are now firing from a further distance away. They can’t support the Russian front line anymore. The Ukrainian tanks are still doing short distance firing.

Some of Russia’s jets have very specific fuel needs. There used to only be two refineries for that fuel. The supply chain for this fuel is small because only these types of jets use it. Chances are that Engels was the main place where the fuel was stored. Therefore, Ukaine’s attack on the facility may have damaged the ability to use any of that type of jet.

Indian refiners have stopped dealing with US sanctioned oil tankers. This won’t apply to those already booked to deliver. This will cover a couple of months. Meanwhile, oil producers in the US, Canada, Brazil, and OPEC are boosting output. 

Kovalenko, a Ukrainian military and political analyst with 100,000 subscribers on Telegram said a Russian drone operator hit one of their North Korean made surface to air missile systems, thinking he was hitting a Ukrainian one. It has a similar silhouette to the ones Ukraine uses.
