Manchester

Went to Manchester with my friend Alison to see the David Hockney Bigger and Closer immersive art show. It was brilliant and so well done. I've put 2 photos in the extras. We had a lovely lunch then walked to Manchester Victoria station. I did want to go in the John Ryland library but it was closed. This building was next to the cathedral, a nice bit of dereliction. 
Got to the station in plenty of time for the train as it was delayed 20 mins waiting for a driver. Driver eventually came 45 mins late. As the train set off the destination changed so we had to wait another 20 minutes for the train to our destination. It took 2 hours to get home! Waiting a whole hour for a train. I have sent a complaint to Northern trains. As I used my bus pass I don't expect a refund although I did pay £10 to be able to use the trains in Greater Manchester for free. They are the most unreliable trains in the country.
