River of Flowers

Monday: A Blackbird

We have about 10 blackbirds in the garden, this morning they were looking for food: I’d found 2 small apples under the Bramley tree, crushed them and thrown them onto the triangle grass - they’d found the as well as some earthworms. They eat some of the sunflower hearts from the bird feeders and scratch around in the fallen leaves I’ve mulched the flower borders with, they also love pecking about in the numerous terracotta flower pots I have and the moss which covers many of the brick walls and the edges of the concrete paths.

Very windy today, wind coming in from the east, temperate around 8°C not taking into account the wind chill factor :-( There were some rain showers too.

Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
