Rogue Heros

I am intrigued by the BBC series Rogue Heroes, depicting Paddy Blair Mayne as a drunken and unruly Irishman.  It greatly misrepresents the man. This image of a wall mural in High Street, Newtownards, just around the corner from Conway Square where a statue of the great man stands is my BlipFoto for today.

It's topical as in Northern Ireland there is growing dissatisfaction with how the BBC depict him in Rogue Heroes.   In real life he was quietly spoken and after university worked as a solicitor in Belfast.
