Domestic harmony

We had passed by (what looked like) a lovely medieval city at Mannetou sur Cher on our way to this site and as it was such a beautiful day we thought we would go to explore it. It was certainly worth the visit although quite small. On our way back to the site we called in at the nearest large town of Romorantin-Lanthenay where we strolled through the park and crossed the river to the 12th century Church. In the park we spotted this scene of domestic harmony (on the left of the picture under the trees) where he sat fishing and she was knitting!
