Roman roads

Gradually heading north and following the footsteps of the Roman Legions. It is not unusual to have 25 miles of straight road - glad to find a roundabout to break the monotony. Some of the roundabouts we used in the St Porcaine area were still decorated with bikes and riders depicting the Tour de France, others were filled (as usual) with flowers, bushes, rocks and waterfalls. We have now reached Neung sur Beuvon. This is a small town about 25 miles SE of Orleans and W of Blois. Another very pleasant site. A cooler day for travelling.
