Homemade Shortbread biscuits.

Today is a freezing cold and windy Monday. Approximately 1c outside.
Much snow has melted from the nearby roads and pavements yet, there are less obvious dangers from patchy slippery remaining snow in this neighbourhood.
I wore four layers of clothing and put my hood up over a Thinsulate hat, to go to the shop.
I have stayed indoors since then doing washing and drying.
I watched online Holy Mass from St Marie's Cathedral in Sheffield.
The cats are happy and coping well.
Online vet advice says it is not a good idea to allow cats to go outdoors in temperatures below 7c. It is hard to think of how many abandoned or stray cats survive in the recent very cold conditions.
