Dinner

Here are Julia and Brian, posing rather beautifully for me. There was an even funnier photo of them from this evening but because I'm an awesome friend I'm using this one instead.

Today was one of those days that was never going to go to plan no matter how much I tried. I thought I'd planned it pretty well until I had to change my uni timetable, at which point the entire day just became a bit of a mess.

I started by going to Caulfield for a 9:00AM lecture/seminar which only ended up lasting for half an hour rather than two hours. Luckily I didn't drive so I didn't waste parking money, but I was pretty annoyed that I'd gotten up early and trekked out there. I used the spare time to pick up my parking permit and then jumped on the train and arrived home at about 10:30, which is the time I'd usually be leaving the house on any other day.

I had an appointment at 12:30, which meant I couldn't go to my 1:00 lecture at uni, but I was hoping to get to my 4:00 tutorial (especially since I cancelled another appointment and a MIFF shift so I could go to it) but by the time I got back from the appointment the thought of driving out to Clayton and back at peak hour made me feel exhausted, so I decided to stay home and rest for the afternoon.

I did go out for dinner, despite feeling so tired, and it was really nice. It was a good group - especially as Steph was there, and we haven't seen her for weeks because she's been travelling - and I think everyone enjoyed it. We went to Southbank, and I don't often go there, so I enjoyed seeing a different part of the city. Melbourne at night is beautiful, and we had a lovely view across the river as we walked back to the train station.

What babes these two are! They are actually very attractive people, but this is maybe not the best photo of them. Julia's face is also a bit out of focus because her hand is much closer so the camera decided to focus on it instead. It's still my favourite photo from last night!
