Himself

Yesterday the female, today the male.  It's hard to find anything bad to say about a bright red bird, other than that they are tricky to photograph well because of the red color which tends to get oversaturated.  I'm happy with this shot, though, because captured what I saw.  

I slept late this morning then had some overnight oats with fresh fruit and honey,  FT'd with my parents, took the dog for a nice walk in a big field where we ran into some birder/photographer friends and had a nice visit.  Then home, lunch, some time in the hide.  And now it's nearly 4 - another day gone!  

I think I will go get my hair cut tomorrow.  It's a good length but lacks any sort of style and definitely needs a trim.  I am challenged with having fine, thin hair with a bit of a wave to it - compounded by some additional thinning from cancer and RA drugs.  So what I need is some sort of style that requires nearly zero effort and makes me look 20 30 years younger... 

Time to put another log on the fire...
