Blackness Castle …

… in the distance at 11:15am.
A calm day for a walk along the coast from Bo’ness to Balckness. Lots of waders along the way, redshank (1st extra), black-tailed godwit? I’ve changed my mind twice so if anyone knows for sure, please let me know (2nd extra) and loads of curlews and oystercatchers. Lots of Wigeon on the water too.
After a quick look at the current exhibition in the castle we went for lunch in The Lobster Pot then walked back to Bo’ness with very full stomachs. Back home mid-afternoon to slump.
