Icy World

Yet another very cold day..temperatures barely got above freezing. Thankfully there was no wind and some sunny intervals, so it didn’t feel too bad outside and walking was quite pleasant.

I spotted this fabulous ice lump on a twig in the beck, I like that the stick is visible through the textured  ice.  Later I spotted a few more close together - (see first extra.

There are some flooded fields which have frozen over - there is a shot of one in the second extra, which looked nice with the sun shining on it

It will be nice to see the back of this cold snap - hopefully from Monday the temps should stay above freezing, even at night.
