Picton

After a short indulgence at the Hanmer Hot Springs pools, we drove over some winding roads in grey weather to Picton. We found our motel, a short distance from the ferry terminal, and did some laundry. I then went for a 2 mile run so that I could see a little bit more of Picton. I was unimpressed but then everything looks better in the sunshine, which was absent today. This view of the inlet was quite pleasant though.
