Hanmer Springs

We left Tekapo after a brief visit to the petting zoo near our house, stopping briefly at Fairlie on the way, and that is where we said goodbye to J&L and Amber (and L’s Mum) as they are flying from Christchurch to Auckland tomorrow.
We arrived to bright but coldish weather in Hanmer and eventually made our way down to town for a very good meal at Spice Island restaurant. We walked back up the hill, had some wine on the balcony, and then retired to bed. The blip is the lovely view from our room.
