Outwoods Play Park

If anything, last night was colder than Thursday night, but thank goodness, we survived. How on Earth are people managing if they can't afford to put the heating on or are living on the streets?

We had to go to the vets to fetch Basil's medications. I suggested that we go up to the Outwoods afterwards because I was hoping to find frost on the trees, but there wasn't any, and the café was full. But we did find seats and I made an indent on my plate of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Basil polished off the smoked salmon after a short jaunt down one of the paths. Too cold to stay out long.
