Football

It must have been cold in the night as my heating came on; (which I'm sure kept the kittykats happy). The thermostat is set to 14 degrees overnight, I'm not sure it's ever kicked in before .

What a glorious day though. The sun was out and the fields and park were white and looking stunning first thing.  Obviously I forgot to pick my phone up when I went to my local parkrun but some of the pictures from others are really good. Everyone was very happy and chatty as well, probably as it makes a change from murk and freezing mist. As a concession to the temperature I wore long socks.

The rest of the day was spent stuck behind people who seemed to be out for a stroll in Tesco and sorting out a few things and packing for my holiday next week. I'm off to France, snow showing in the Alps with a group of friends from work. It does involve a ridiculously early start on Thursday morning but otherwise I'm looking forward to a few days of fun.

Himself is staying home to eat crisps, watch football and look after the cats
