Another frosty night was forecast.

I intended to have a longer walk and blip snow covered hills, not Ambleside rooftops but motivation to get out early was lacking.

A short detour off my usual route to the shops gives this view with the spire of St Mary’s Church prominent and Loughrigg Fell off to the right.

The early blue sky had disappeared by the time I went out.
