The thaw . . . not what I intended to blip.

Relieved that the central heating worked last night and again when I switched it on this morning after what felt like the coldest night of the winter.

Made a cooked breakfast for a change, fed the birds and did some tidying and ironing.

After a late lunch and not having heard anything from the boiler people I thought it was safe to have a walk while the sun was shining. Before I had a chance to get ready there was a phone call to see if I was in as Scott could be here in 45 minutes to fit the new part.

Walk cancelled and a wander around the garden instead for a blip. The snow and wet grass seemed to be glistening but the camera failed to catch it.
