Weekend Walkers

It couldn't be a better day for everyone to be out on the moors and it was lovely to see families and young children quite high up on the moors. The conditions were beautiful. We chatted to a few people before taking a quieter route back for some solitude. Utter bliss!

Almost forgot, on the way up, we looked back to watch a hare haring towards us but on the next level down. It did an emergency stop when it sensed us, sat bolt upright, staring at us, and then tore away across the snow. That’s my third hare in about twenty years up here.
