Caer Caradoc
Thick freezing fog enveloped the house this morning and the ice was iron hard. Nothing has come up the hill today. We had a six mile walk. Once we got above 400 metres it was lovely and sunny, though not warm enough to thaw the snow and ice. We took a familiar route over the Bucknell and Bedstone hills and round to the viewpoint above Honeyhole Farm looking towards Caer Caradoc (Chapel Lawn) hillfort and then descended on an unfamiliar path back into the fog of the Redlake Valley.
