Winter morning

Still quite snowy here up on the hill. Today's blip photo was taken from my bedroom window. There was a very severe frost overnight, -7 on the greenhouse thermometer. I suspect that we could walk across our small wildlife pond. I made holes through the ice on the big fish pond. The Koi were all motionless at the bottom. The post office van came round today and wished it hadn't. I watched as it slid down the hill sideways, it eventually came to rest with no harm done.
