This is all Loki's handiwork. Now that he's turned one we thought his chewing days were behind him. It started a few days ago with him scratching a thin patch in the leather. After that he was obsessed, as always, with anything that looks a little different from its surroundings, and worked on it through the night until a small hole appeared. We covered this with black gaffer tape, but he soon pulled that off, and also its replacement hidden under a dog blanket and in a different position, swapped with the adjacent cushion.
