Waxing Lyrical

Didn’t think when l booked the tickets last March that we would be driving into Leeds in this icy weather but l knew with the sort of car Rebecca has it wouldn’t be a problem.
The roads were pretty clear and when we got to the city centre there was no sign of snow, see extra.
She picked me up an hour after school had finished and we got to Kendells Bistro in good time to enjoy two courses but had no time for coffee or dessert as we had to be at the Playhouse for The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe which started at 7pm.
A very good performance, full of surprises and lots of technical illustrations.

Earlier in the day l went to Zumba as it’s practically on my doorstep.
Only five of us made it but it was a good session, just the same as Monday actually. I don’t make the Friday session because l always seem to have other plans on that day.
